Fall Fanfare is a three-part virtual series in support of Amistad Canada’s project with Patronato Pro Niños.
The series will be on three
consecutive Thursday evenings,
running from September 24 to October
8, 2020.
Join us first for a concert,
then a lecture, and finally a
cooking demonstration. Funds raised
will be used to support the salaries
of the doctor, dentist, and driver
of the Amistad Canada mobile
medical/dental unit, which was
purchased with funds raised by
Amistad Canada from 2017-2019.
"70’s, 80’s & 90’s
Voyage"
Last November 2019, our
"70’s, 80’s & 90’s Voyage" event was
held for the second consecutive year.
The proceeds of the night were
destined to the purchase of epilepsy
medications for the children who are in
our medical program of assistance in
seizure meds.
The participation of
the citizens of San Miguel was solidary!
Many people attended, enjoyed themselves
enormously and contributed to our cause.
And it was thanks to the social
commitment of our sponsors that the
event could be held.
The night was
full of surprises for the attendees. It
was a great night of fun, dancing, and
memories of unforgettable times!
Canadian Thanksgiving in San
Miguel de Allende!
As part of our fundraising
activities, and in honor of our Canadian
donors, on Monday, October 14 we
celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving in San
Miguel de Allende with Amistad Canada,
in the wonderful Mon Bistro restaurant,
where Guilles cooked for the attendees a
wonderful traditional Thanksgiving
menu.

Concert!
Cuna de Tierra vineyard
surprised us once again with another of
its wonderful events. On Saturday,
October 12, 2019., an exclusive music
festival was held with different groups
and with the stellar participation of
the queen of disco music, Gloria Gaynor,
where hundreds of people enjoyed her
great concert accompanied by excellent
wine and food. Patronato Pro Niños was
chosen as the cause to benefit through
this historic event.
